Add a CNAME record on Cloudflare
- Login to Cloudflare.
- Select your website.
- Click on DNS from the top menu.
- Click on the Add record button.
- Select CNAME from the drop-down menu under the Type tab.
- Enter your subdomain in the Name field. For example, in blog.mysite.com blog is the subdomain.
- Enter cname.retargetkit.com in the Target field.
- Click on the icon under the Proxy status tab. The status has to be DNS only.
- Now click on the Save button.
- Wait a few hours for DNS propagation.
- Now login to RetargetKit.
- Click on your profile button situated at the top right side of the page.
- Select Workspace Settings from the menu.
- Click on Custom Domains under the CAMPAIGN section from the left side of the page.
- Click on the Add Custom Domain button.
- Enter the domain you want to use in the Domain Name field as your custom domain. In our case it is blog.retargetkit.com.
- Enter your redirected URL in the Root Redirect URL field. In our case it is https://retargetkit.com
- Enter your 404 page URL in the 404 Redirect URL field. In our case it is https://retargetkit.com/404
- Hit the SAVE button, your custom subdomain will be added.
