Add a CNAME record on Cloudflare

  1. Login to Cloudflare.
  2. Select your website.
  3. Click on DNS from the top menu.

  4. Click on the Add record button.
  5. Select CNAME from the drop-down menu under the Type tab.
  6. Enter your subdomain in the Name field. For example, in blog is the subdomain.
  7. Enter in the Target field.
  8. Click on the icon under the Proxy status tab. The status has to be DNS only. 

  9. Now click on the Save button.
  10. Wait a few hours for DNS propagation.
  11. Now login to RetargetKit.
  12. Click on your profile button situated at the top right side of the page.
  13. Select Workspace Settings from the menu.

  14. Click on Custom Domains under the CAMPAIGN section from the left side of the page.

  15. Click on the Add Custom Domain button.

  16. Enter the domain you want to use in the Domain Name field as your custom domain. In our case it is
  17. Enter your redirected URL in the Root Redirect URL field. In our case it is
  18. Enter your 404 page URL in the 404 Redirect URL field. In our case it is

  19. Hit the SAVE button, your custom subdomain will be added.
